"Peat and light floral notes from the outset. There are also notes of icing sugar, moss and coal fire smoke. The finish is long and dry. This is a good example of a well integrated whisky."

"The nose is like walking on to a garage forecourt after there’s been a bonfire! There are notes of thick smoke, petrol, TCP and ash trays. On the palate, the medicinal notes continue with iodine and smoked paprika together with added notes of figs and red berries. There’s a touch of pepper heading into the long, lingering finish."
